The Mental Health Services in the Capital Region of Denmark consists of 13 mental health centers, three mental health centers for children and adolescents, a shared administration, and nine social services spread across the region.

The Mental Health Services in the Capital Region of Denmark has 5,000 employees who are in charge of the treatment of approx. 38,000 citizens with a mental illness each year. This is equivalent of approx. 40 percent of the total mental health treatment in Denmark.
