BIO

Doris Østergaard's research activities are within the areas of patient safety, clinical- and simulation-based training of individuals, teams and organisations. She aims to create a link between these areas by her educational and research activities. 

Her plans for the future include simulation-based training to improve clinical decision making, the importance of psychological safety and patient safety culture for healthcare professionals mental health as well as the use of portfolio and feedback in continuous professional development of physicians.
