Leander De Mol focuses on the development of a simulation-based curriculum specific for chest tube insertions (CTI) at Ghent University, Belgium.

The project will initially focus on the development of an objective assessment tool for CTI. Afterwards, the utilization of this tool to provide feedback and enhance performance in surgical residents will be evaluated.
