CAMES testbed

Simulation has great potential for testing equipment and analysing it's use. It also supports analysis and planning of work processes in health care.

​The simulation infrastructure contains video equipment and methods that allows easy gathering and analysis of data.

The simulation setting makes it possible to combine a high degree of realism in the projects - and the conditions under which the projects are executed - with a high degree of control over the situation.

Scenarios can be designed in a way that allows testing of safety related aspects of equipment and processes.

With simulation it is thus possible to have a larger amount of test events in the same span of time compared to the real clinical practice. Test events can also be designed systematically and thus allow testing of equipment in various work modes. The realism of the project also makes it possible to uncover aspects that were not anticipated during design of the test.
