Learning objectives
Learning objectives for ALS-course offering teaching and training for primarily doctors, nurses and paramedics:
- A systematic approach to critically ill patients.
- Treating cardiac arrest and conditions with potential cardiac arrest as part of a team.
Form and content
The training is interactive focusing on a high degree of participant involvement, with participants working in smaller groups.
Training includes practical skills in basic and advanced life support; discussion and integration of best evidence based guidelines scenarios, and teamwork in trained in full scale scenarios. The course ends with a theoretical and practical exam assessing the participants.
The courses are organised by Danish Resuscitation Council (DRG).
