Background in physiotherapy and a master’s degree in health sciences, with methodological expertise in quantitative research and systematic reviews. My master’s thesis examined why patients with lung cancer, who were deemed eligible for surgery based on staging, were not operated on.

My research interests include optimizing patients’ functional capacity prior to treatment, systematically assessing functional levels, and developing and validating measurement methods. Currently, I am working on a pilot study investigating the effects of preoperative training for lung cancer patients in collaboration with Senior Researcher Morten Quist, UCSF, and hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark.
