Baggrund i fysioterapi. Metodiske kompetencer indenfor kvantitativ forskning samt systematiske reviews. Fokusområder er kræftrehabilitering, særligt træning og kræftrelateret lymfødem. Derudover varetagelse af træning i Krop & Kræft (et specialiseret træningstilbud til kræftpatienter i kemoterapi). Projekter som jeg er involveret i ge​nerelt, kendetegnes ved at være praksisnære (f.eks. træning og lymfødem, prospektiv opsporing af lymfødem, højintensiv træning under kemoterapi for testikelkræft). Samarbejdspartnere inkluderer både nationale og internationale forskere​​ samt den landsdækkende netværksgruppe for Krop & Kræft og Onkologsik Klinik på Rigshospitalet.​​
