Janne has many years of experience analyzing epidemiological and clinical studies, including Phase I-IV studies, drug utilization studies, national registry and methodological studies. Her statistical focus has been on multivariate models and especially Latent Variable Models. Janne started her career at the Center for Disease Prevention, where she mainly worked with population epidemiology. In 2005 Janne moved to the Clinical Research Center at Amager and Hvidovre Hospital, where Janne the first years worked with analysis of clinical studies and focus was on optimizing treatment and rehabilitation in older patients. Later she took her PhD on measurement of HIV-associated Lipodystrophy by Latent Class Models.​
