Julia recently joined the team with a background in clinical medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Aberdeen, followed by a Master's in Population Medicine from Cardiff University. Now pursuing a PhD at Psykiatrisk Center Ballerup in Copenhagen, Denmark, she researches the development of binge eating and binge eating disorder in adolescents and young adults. Using data from large-scale studies, including the CCC2000 study in Denmark, she examines how these conditions progress over time and their impact on metabolism and quality of life.
