25 years - Early adulthood

The CCC2000 study has already given us important insights into how events in childhood and adolescence influence mental and physical health later in life. Now these children have grown up, and the researchers behind CCC2000 are ready to start the next chapter: early adulthood.

The purpose of the 25-year follow-up is to supplement the young adults' self-reported mental and physical health problems during an important phase of early adulthood, when they will integrate into the labor market and often form families and lasting relationships. By gathering new knowledge, we can better prevent psychiatric illness and mental health problems and help future generations lead healthier lives. CCC2000 is not just a survey - it's a window to the future.
