Patient involvement in research extends beyond recruitment—it enhances the relevance and quality of outcomes by integrating patient perspectives early in the project design. In the Capital Region of Denmark, researchers can access support through two centers:

Center for Health Research ​- offers ​support in the development of patient-centered clinical intervention studies, strengthens research competencies, and promotes integration of evidence-based knowledge into practice.

Center for Patient Involvement (link to Danish website) - provides expertise and tools to systematically involve patients and relatives in research and care development, ensuring feedback informs decision-making.​​
