Advice on EU Programmes
The Strategic Research Support and Outreach-team at the Unit for Research Support and -economy provides comprehensive guidance to researchers in the Region throughout all stages of the EU framework programme application process.
This includes:
- Identifying relevant calls that align your research idea
- Advising on consortium composition
- Planning the application process
- Reviewing and providing feedback on proposals
- Assisting with budgeting.
The team works in close cooperation with external partners, the Greater Copenhagen EU Office located in Brussels. They offer valuable insights into EU policy agendas and research funding opportunities.
If your project is awarded EU funding, we will support you together with our legal team in contract negotiations and financial reporting.
You can apply for funding specifically to help prepare large, international applications. Read more on PIF-puljen here (information in Danish).

Administrative Information
When applying for EU funding certain standardized administrative details must be included. It is essential to use the correct information from the outset when registering your application in the electronic submission system. Below, you will find the most important administrative details. If you are using information that differs from what is listed here, it is likely outdated.
If you require clarification or need information not provided on this page, please contact the Strategic Support and Outreach team. We are happy to assist you in ensuring all administrative data is accurate and up-to-date.
Please note: The Capital Region of Denmark uses a single, shared PIC-number for all EU programme applications. This number must be used for all submissions from the region. Researchers with dual employment—both in the Capital Region of Denmark and at a university—must use the Capital Region’s PIC number when the region is a participant in the application. The university’s PIC number cannot be used in such cases.
PIC number: 999654744
Legal name: Region Hovedstaden
Short name: REGIONH
Organization address to be used in the application:

City: HILLERØD
The Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR) of the Capital Region of Denmark: Morten Peter Jørgensen, morten.peter.joergensen@regionh.dk.

REMEMBER: If your (Region H) expenses are over €430,000 including overhead, we must budget €4000 for audit/revision so we can get CFS. However, this is not necessary if it is a LumpSum project.
