Line Bentsen is a medical doctor and PhD from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Oncology, Copenhagen University Hospital - Rigshospitalet, and is also a resident physician in clinical oncology at Odense University Hospital, Denmark.
She has experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her work is grounded in clinical cancer research, with a particular focus on fertility and family formation, sexuality, and quality of life among young adults with cancer.
Line is a co-founder and steering group member of the national, interdisciplinary research network NAYACareDK. She also collaborates with the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) within the Quality of Life Group. Currently, she leads a national Danish Comprehensive Cancer Center (DCCC)-funded project on quality of life in young adults with cancer during and after radiotherapy, as well as a NAYACareDK-anchored qualitative study exploring relational challenges between young adults with cancer and their young adult informal caregivers.
