Educational background: Education (master's degree) and educational sociology (PhD).
Research methods: Primarily qualitative, but also social network analysis (SNA).
Focus areas: My research specialisation is pedagogy and health, integrating focus on education (learning and competence theories, didactics), sociology (power, welfare state, professions, institutions and their history) and health/disease (the body, illness, patients, relatives). This is supported by a strong focus on theoretical, empirical and methodological reflections. Projects I am involved in include clinical didactics in nursing and medical studies, the competences of healthcare professionals to deal with an increasingly diverse population, interprofessional collaboration in hospitals, technologies and competences of patients/citizens, relatives and healthcare professionals, and not least patient education and home care. I am happy to contribute to the Capital Region's hospitals by sharing knowledge, organising presentations and workshops on these topics.
