Methodological competencies and focus areas: Qualitative methods, including interviews, focus groups, and observations. Interested in social inequality, care work, and gender.

Projects and collaborators: Affiliated with the projects ’Enhancing Home-Based Treatment: Competencies, Care and Coordination Across Sectors’ (HoBaT), ‘Building Resources for Improving Development in Clinical Education’ (BRIDGE) and ‘Cultivating Awareness and Remediation in Education for Clinical Educators’ (CARE-CE).

 
HoBaT is a qualitative ethnographic study of the transition between hospital and home during treatment. The project focuses on the ethical dilemmas that may arise when responsibility shifts between patients, citizens, relatives, and healthcare professionals, as well as on the organizational and technological infrastructures, knowledge, and competencies required for home treatment. The project, materialized by the Technological University Hospital (TUH), are led by the Center for Health Professions Research (UCSF) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
 
BRIDGE and CARE-CE aim to strengthen clinical nursing education through formalized and practice-integrated competency development for clinical supervisors. BRIDGE and CARE-CE are led by UCSF and carried out in collaboration with Amsterdam UMC, the Netherlands, and Azienda Unità Sanitaria Locale Toscana Centro (USLCT), Italy.
