Ina Koch Røpke

Sociologist (cand.scient.soc) from the University of Copenhagen as of January 2026, with a focus on welfare, inequality, health, and education. Competencies across a broad range of social science research methods, particularly quantitative methods and analytical, statistical approaches. In addition, I have experience with qualitative methods, including in my master’s thesis project. 

In my thesis, I examined everyday health practices among individuals living with chronic illness through semi-structured interviews. The thesis is a part of the research project Patients’ Health Behaviour at UCSF, with which I am also affiliated as a research assistant. The Patients’ Health Behaviour project investigates illness and health behaviour across patient groups and hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark using survey data and interviews.
