I am a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree from Copenhagen University College and a Master of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Southern Denmark, where my master’s thesis focused on quality of life related to sexual health among young adults with cancer. Through this work, I gained experience with quantitative research methods.
As a clinical research assistant at the Department of Oncology, I further developed my competencies in qualitative methods through interviews, data collection, and analysis - in connection with the pilot testing of a Danish screening tool for assessing needs among young adults with cancer, as well as a project on self-testing of blood samples.
I am affiliated with FOKUS, where my primary research area is young adults with cancer. I am currently a PhD student on the CAYA‑Bridge project, which examines the cross‑sectoral implementation of a screening tool aimed at identifying needs among young adults undergoing cancer treatment. The project includes both the organizational implementation processes across municipal and hospital settings and the needs experienced by young adults throughout their cancer trajectory.
