Sandra Jensen is a PhD student at the Department of Oncology and the Centre for Health Research, Rigshospitalet. She is a qualified physiotherapist and holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on late effects following cancer treatment, with a particular focus on lymphoedema among men treated for prostate cancer. In her PhD project, she is investigating the prevalence, risk factors and consequences of lymphoedema, as well as patients’ experiences of living with lymphoedema and their interactions with the healthcare system. Sandra has methodological expertise in clinical research, prospective cohort studies, cross-sectional studies, patient-reported outcomes, multi-site data collection, data processing and systematic reviews. She collaborates with clinical and research partners in the fields of oncology, urology, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and late effects of cancer.
