Time: Thursdays, 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM
New participants are welcomed on an ongoing basis, and there is no fixed end date. The extent of participation is determined by each individual participant.
Program Content
- Physical activity adapted to individual levels and daily well-being
- Facilitated group conversations and reflection with peers of a similar age
Over time, the program is expected to expand to two weekly sessions, with content developed collaboratively with participants.
Research
YOU ACT is accompanied by an ethnographic PhD study exploring how an age-specific community can (or can’t) support young adults' everyday lives and quality of life. Participants' experiences may contribute to the study through conversations, interviews, or observations. All information will be treated confidentially.
Eligibility
Young adults aged 18-39 years living with advanced / incurable / chronic, regardless of diagnosis, treatment stage, or functional level.
No prior experience with exercise programs or support groups is required.
Participation does not require a referral. Potential participants can call or email to register. Family members, caregivers, or healthcare professionals are also welcome to contact us on behalf of participants.
