The ​research team at UCSF is interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and cross-​disciplinary. In our research, teaching, supervision and at department meetings, we prioritise methodological reflection on the strengths and weaknesses of designs, theories, methods and empirical data - and on the relationships between them. We work both within and across our individual theoretical and methodological competences. The team includes researchers with and without clinical backgrounds and with research training and experience from health sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities.
