About Greater Copenhagen EU Office

Greater Copenhagen EU Office represents the Capital Region of Denmark, Zealand Denmark, 45 municipalities in Eastern Denmark, University of Copenhagen, Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen Business School, and Roskilde University.

The EU is a common platform for solving societal challenges and create value through internationalization, and it is our goal to contribute to solving society's many major challenges with our knowledge, skills and the opportunities in our geography.

We help our members explore and apply for EU funding, find partners and engage in networks that position members, sectors and key interests towards the EU institutions and policy agenda.

What we do

We help the members of Greater Copenhagen EU Office and private companies navigate the EU development and research agendas. We assist and advise within five areas: Project development, advocacy, networking activities, branding and EU proficiency.

We seek to create international innovation partnerships with the participation of regions, municipalities, universities and companies. We engage regional stakeholders in EU activities and gather international inspiration to create knowledge, development and growth. We take advantage of the synergies inherent in working with European partners and to solve societal challenges.

Why we are in Brussels

It is our mission to engage our members in EU activities that strengthen research, innovation and development in Eastern Denmark.

We want our members to be at the forefront of the EU's agendas and project opportunities. We therefore coordinate EU activities across the regions, municipalities and universities.
