Lisbeth Andreasen's research focuses on ultrasound, fetal growth, intrauterine fetal death and placenta related maternal disease and the applications of artificial intelligence.
She aims to uncover underlying mechanisms in compromised fetal growth and fetal death using big data and machine learning. Also, the development of deep neural networks for classification, segmentation and analysis of placental function in ultrasound images.
