Steven Andersen currently focuses on patient-specific simulation within temporal bone surgery based on clinical imaging. He aims to ensure that specialists can rehearse and plan difficult surgical procedures ahead of operating on patients.   

To integrate patient-specific simulation intraoperatively, enabling surgeons to have real-time guidance by the patient-specific simulation plan during surgery.
