Training

Instructor courses - both level 1 and 2 - are held internationally to spread the use of simulation based teaching and training in safe environments.

​Basic course for healthcare professionals about to teach in simulation based training. You will become competent in working as an instructor/facilitator in a full-scale simulator - i.e. be able to create a safe learning environment that supports questions.

The advanced instructor course consists of two modules of two days each and builds on the basic instructor course (level 1) along with the participants' experiences since the first course.

Unintended events, errors and unsatisfactory procedures are experienced by both staff,  patients and their relatives in the health care system. These events influences our everyday clinical work no matter what profession we belong to. Both patients/relatives and staff report a wide variety of unintended events. As professionals we are obligated to look out for one another when these events occur, not least when it affects patients and their relatives.

​Conflicts are here to stay. They affect our daily clinical work to a certain degree no matter our profession. They can be a source of frustration or development depending on the manner and speed with which we handle them
